Insta Stock Backtest, LLC does not create user accounts. We store as little as possible, for as short as possible.
What we keep
- One-time access codes, Stripe payment intent id, created/expiry timestamps, used/refunded flags.
- Optional email, only if you type one so we can send the code. We do not market to it.
- A truncated hash of the paying IP for abuse detection. We do not store the raw IP with the code.
What we do not keep
- Card numbers, wallet credentials, or other payment instrument data (Stripe does).
- Names, passwords, or a customer profile.
- Backtest results after the response is sent (they are computed on demand).
Processors
Stripe processes the $1 charge. Massive (formerly Polygon.io) or, if configured as fallback, Yahoo Finance supplies market data. If you supply an email, it is sent through the SMTP host you or we configure.
PCI
Wallet data is collected in Stripe’s Express Checkout Element. Cardholder data does not touch this application’s servers. Confirm PCI SAQ A against Stripe’s current guidance before a live launch.
