One $1 payment is one parameter set on one listed US stock or ETF for one window (12 months, 3 years, or 5 years). A $10 pack is 20 of those runs and lasts 30 days. This browser remembers remaining runs. If you enter an email, the receipt is the backup so you can paste it on another device. A single $1 run lasts 24 hours. You get the lot book, total account return, realized (sold-lot) P&L, a full-capital buy-and-hold overlay, drawdown, and the trade log.
Yes. One complimentary run per device, same book as a $1 run. After that, $1 per run or $10 for 20. Complimentary runs are limited per device and may be rate-limited by network.
Stay on this site after the first result, change the ticker or settings, and press Run again. Or come back in the same browser within 30 days. On a new device, open the receipt email and paste it under “I already have remaining runs.”
Total return is ending cash plus open lots marked at the last close, minus starting capital. Realized P&L only counts lots that were sold. Unsold lots can sit at a loss — that is in total return, not in realized P&L.
The overlay buys as many whole shares as the same total capital allows at the first hour’s open. Percentages for the grid and for buy-and-hold both use that starting capital as the denominator.
A dip is measured on bar N’s close. The buy fills at bar N+1’s open. Each lot sells at its own gain-% limit, or at the open if the open gaps through that limit. Whole shares only.
If data is missing or the engine errors, you are refunded automatically. The payment is not used up on a failed run.
Currently listed US stocks and ETFs with enough regular-hours hourly history. Delisted names are missing (survivorship bias). A 5-year window may be shorter if the data vendor cannot serve that far.
No. Results are hypothetical and backward-looking. One historical window is not a forecast.
